¨ Promoted “LIVE UNITED” at various community events by wearing our local LIVE UNITED T-Shirts!
¨ Focused on Community Collaborations…Businesses, Agencies, Alma College, Schools and Volunteers
¨ Successfully implemented the “Community Impact” process by changing lives in Gratiot County.
¨ Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation and C.J. Strosacker Foundation provide support for the last 14 years.
¨ Citizens Review and Mid-Year reviews provide agency accountability.
¨ $22,339 issued by Emergency Food and Shelter Program (FEMA) for basic needs programs.
¨ Gratiot County United Way reaches goal of $325,000.
¨ 300+ volunteered to help raise and allocate the dollars..
¨ 1,700 businesses and individuals financially supported United Way.
¨ $91,145 given by cash contributions.
¨ $63,871 bill me contributions.
¨ $169,984 given by payroll deductions
¨ 672 donors gave $1 to $52 per year for a total of $26,191.
¨ 286 donors gave $53 to $199 per year for a total of $32,346.
¨ 32 donors gave $200 to $249 per year for a total of $7,092.
¨ 204 donors gave $250 or more for a total of $167,337 and became Pillars Club Members.
¨ $92,034 Small and Large Business Contributions
¨ $217,754 distributed to community agencies, designated agencies and other United Ways.
¨ Gratiot County connects with 2-1-1 partnership and supports with a $5,000 contribution.
¨ Support United Way of America and United Way of Michigan.
¨ Outstanding reviews from annual audit, “We are Accountable.”
¨ Wilcox Non-Profit Center filled to capacity. 12 community agencies make their home in the collaborative building. ASCC, Eightcap, Child Advocacy, Gratiot Substance Abuse Collation, CASA, American Red Cross, Gratiot Collaborative Council, United Way of Gratiot County, Gratiot Community Mental Health, Mid Michigan Literacy Council, Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers/Sisters.
¨ Community Partnership formed to establish Children’s Advocacy Center of Gratiot County.
¨ Grants obtained from Consumers Energy Foundation, DTE Energy Foundation, Gratiot County Community Foundation, and Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation to renovate storage building into CAC.
